Last week market celebrated Halloween as it slumped globally, except in China. This year has been too horror filled already, without Halloween. The S&P 500 closed more than 2% lower than where it started the week, for the 11th time this year, compared to the average of about 3 times a year since 2010. News of renewed restrictions and lockdowns in France and Germany to cope with the rise in infections rocked the market. The technology sector in particular, which has been a leader for the recent bear-market rally,
led the decline this week as it lost about 6%….
